A little bit about me...

My name is Katie and I have been couponing since early 2011. My older sister had started couponing and I realized all the great deals there are out there. Couponing is so simple and with a great website to tell you step-by-step, it makes it even easier. I absolutely love being able to get all my makeup for free, rather than having to pay $7 for each mascara! It makes my mom happy too! :) Getting free household items helps my parents out as well! Keep checking back daily for great deals and I will post videos hopefully every Sunday when I get great coupon hauls.

Below I have included some of the most common reason's people don't coupon and some Beginner's Tips as well.


Excuse #1: I don't have enough time.
Tip #1: I am in High School, I dual enroll and play sports, so I, too, don't have a lot of time. When you watch TLC's Extreme Couponing, it shows people spending hours clipping coupons and searching for coupons in garbage bins. That is NOT realistic whatsoever. Purchase coupons on eBay or couponbeat.com. All you have to do is spend 5 minutes purchasing the coupons and simply wait to receive them in the mail. If you have 15 minutes extra every night to check out my blog and to buy coupons, you will save HUNDREDS every month.

Excuse #2: People get irritated when they are in line behind me.
Tip #2: The best way to avoid rude people behind you is to get organized and make an Excel spreadsheet on what you need and how much you need. Have all your coupons ready to go, and just be confident! :)

Excuse #3: I don't know how to organize all my coupons.
Tip #3: Get a binder and ad in coupon organizing inserts. Or use envelopes and paperclip the same coupons together.
