I am really thinking about not giving my business to Rite Aid anymore....
Quick News Update:
#1: You have the option to have your Up+s loaded to your card. However, that means your Up+'s will be card specific. You can Opt-out of this.
#2: You cannot use an Up+ you get until 6am the next morning.
#3: Rite Aid MAY be trying to go card-specific w/ their Up+ Rewards like CVS.
HUUUUGE BUMMER. :( Mostly about the 6am Up+ Reward thing.
To offer even more value and convenience, we’re excited to announce the chainwide rollout of our Load2Card +UP feature! All of your +UPs will now be automatically loaded to your wellness+ card – no more having to keep track of your paper receipts!
If you prefer, you’ll still have the option to receive +UPs on your register receipts rather than having them loaded to your wellness+ card. This will officially go into effect on Sunday, Sept. 2, at all Rite Aid Pharmacy locations. If you have any questions, check out our Load2Card +UP FAQs:http://bit.ly/P0S9uM

WHAT DOES THIS MEAN TO YOU AND ME?
Basically what Rite Aid is doing is going paperless, so instead of your UP’s printing at the end of your receipt they now will be electronically added to your cards. BUT, they wont be added until the following day (after 6am) You can opt out of doing this by contacting Rite Aid calling 1800RITEAID or by bringing your card to the register and having the cashier opt you out. But still the UPS that print are not going to be able to redeemed until the following day.
Every week, myself included, we try to roll our ups to get the least spent out of pocket and now unfortunately we aren’t going to be able to do that because we will have to wait until the following day to use the UP that are produced from the transactions done that day.
You can still use your ups and coupons at the same time, because the program states that “UPS are deducted from total purchase after coupons, wellness+discount and wellness+ restricted items have been deducted.”
